Building Guangzhou into an industrial hub for hydrogen industry and unleash the vitality of the hydrogen economy! During September 28 to 29, Zhonglin International Group was invited to participate in the first Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Hydrogen Energy Forum held at the Huangpu International Convention Center.
At the meeting, the hydrogen energy associations of the four regions of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen signed a strategic cooperation agreement and released the Guangzhou Consensus. The four regions will leverage their respective advantages, reasonably divide labor, share resources, and use point to area methods to strengthen collaborative innovation, build communication platforms, and carry out regional demonstrations and industrial linkage according to local conditions, opening up a new chapter in the development of China's hydrogen and fuel cell industries.
The development of hydrogen industry ushers in significant opportunities
This year's Hydrogen Forum is a grand event jointly organized by the Guangzhou Hydrogen Industry Development Association and South China University of Technology, under the guidance of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China Hydrogen Alliance and other units.
Nearly 200 hydrogen industry experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from all over the country gathered on site, focusing on achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. They exchanged in-depth views on the current situation and prospects of the hydrogen energy industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, explored the path of industrialization and commercialization of the hydrogen energy industry, and worked together to open up a new chapter in the development of domestic hydrogen and fuel cell industries.
Guangzhou: Forge an emerging industry worth billions within the next 10 years
Under the guidance of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, the hydrogen energy industry has ushered in unprecedented development opportunities. Recently, five national ministries and commissions issued a notice on launching the demonstration and application of fuel cell vehicles, officially launching demonstration and application in the demonstration city clusters of Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong provinces and cities. At present, Guangdong Province has been shortlisted for the first batch of demonstration application cities for fuel cell vehicles in China.
As an industrial hub of the hydrogen industry in the Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou is forging ahead to build an innovative research and development center for fuel cell vehicles and a core area for fuel cell vehicle demonstration applications in urban agglomerations. The hydrogen energy industry is flourishing, and the pattern of hydrogen energy demonstration urban agglomerations has been established. The hydrogen energy economy is gradually expanding, and breakthroughs have been made in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and refueling technologies. The construction of hydrogen refueling stations and the promotion of fuel cell vehicles are accelerating, Strive to build a complete independent and controllable industrial chain for hydrogen energy and fuel cells within the window period, and achieve diversified application scenarios.
Guangzhou plans the development of the hydrogen energy industry from an energy perspective, focusing on the main links of the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and tailoring the hydrogen energy industry chain to local conditions. In the next 10 years, it will become an emerging industry with an output value of billions of yuan. In recent years, Huangpu District has made significant progress in the development of hydrogen energy industry.
Guangzhou Consensus: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen will work closely together to support each other
At the meeting, policy makers, academician experts, and leaders of leading enterprises in the hydrogen and fuel cell industry from the three major hydrogen energy industry zones in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, gathered together to reach a consensus on developing hydrogen energy and implementing the dual carbon goals. The three major hydrogen energy industry zones, four cities, and five institutions will work closely together to get it done.
