Shenmu is the largest county-level city in Shaanxi Province. Shenmu has a vast territory and abundant resources. Raw coal is distributed in the northwest of the city, with a coal content area of 4500 square kilometers and a total reserve of over 50 billion tons. It is easy to bury and mine, and has huge reserves of coalbed methane. In addition, coal mining enterprises produce a large amount of hydrogen gas.
